The rose and violet fondant creams taste like a proper English garden, and the Marc de Champagne truffle has a lovely grown-up kick. I've already eaten six out of the 16 pieces—they're dangerously easy to grab from the box while reading.
The raspberry and rose fondant creams are pure magic—so delicate and floral without being overpowering. My favorite was the Marc de Champagne truffle; it melted perfectly and felt like a little celebration. This box made the perfect gift for my book club, and everyone kept asking where I got it.
The box itself is lovely, but the real star is the Marc de Champagne truffle—that one’s dangerously good. I’ve already eaten half the selection in two sittings, and the Earl Grey one has a nice, subtle tea kick.
